Accountly
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Accountly ("Accountly", "we", "us"), a Shopify application operated by AddOnePlugins, collects, uses, and protects information when a merchant installs and uses the app, and when their customers interact with the customer-account features Accountly provides.
1. Information we collect
When a merchant installs Accountly, and as the app operates, we may process:
- Store information — your shop domain, store settings, plan, and currency.
- Order data — order identifiers, numbers, totals, financial and fulfillment status, and payment gateway names, used to power features such as loyalty points, returns, and COD tracking.
- Customer data — customer identifiers and, where a feature requires it, profile details, wishlist items, loyalty balances, return and cancellation requests, and referrals.
- Usage data — feature toggles and configuration you set within the app.
Accountly accesses this data through Shopify's APIs under the permissions you grant at install. We do not collect payment card numbers or sensitive financial credentials.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the features you enable (loyalty, wishlist, returns, cancellations, COD tracking, reorder, profile fields, referrals, and upsell).
- To display each customer their own account information on the storefront.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the app.
- To provide support when you request it.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by Shopify (as your platform provider) and by our infrastructure providers solely to operate the app. We may disclose information where required by law.
4. Data retention & deletion
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the app. When you uninstall Accountly, associated store data is removed. Accountly honors Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks, including customers/redact, shop/redact, and customers/data_request, to delete or surface customer data on request.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR and CCPA), you and your customers may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Store customers should direct such requests to the merchant, who can fulfill them via Shopify; merchants may contact us for assistance.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
